Thesis Project - Animation Therapy
Animation Therapy is a thesis project created for the honors program at SUNY Cortland. My thesis question is about whether viewing a meditative animation can help student-athletes with their mental health. The Cortland State Swim team helped with this experiment. My creative project involves seven one-minute animations. My animations consists of the animals that best represent each chakra's characteristics. The end goal of this project is finding out if the use of sound and animation can put athletes in a better state of mind. On the left side of the page, there are seven illustrations of each animal and chakra that was used for the animation. On the right side of the page, there are seven infographics that explain more about the project and the results from my experiment.
